Tickets for the Champions League final are now on sale
The current 2024–25 UEFA Champions League season is the next edition of the annual competition among the leading European football clubs. This year, the number of participants in the main stage will increase to thirty-six teams, which will be an innovation of the tournament. The main stage will be held from September 17, 2024 to May 31, 2025, and instead of the usual distribution into six groups, all teams will compete in one common group.
Last year, the winner of the silver cup was Real Madrid, which beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final at Wembley Stadium in London. This was the club's fifteenth victory in the Champions League. Founded in 1902, Real has experienced both victories and defeats, but this season the Spanish club intends to fight for the main European trophy. By the way, Real Madrid holds the record for the most goals scored in Champions League finals — they have scored 30 goals. The highest attendance at a final match was recorded in 1960, when more than 130,000 spectators watched the game between Real Madrid and Eintracht.
