The final match of the Champions League will take place in Munich
The Allianz Arena is a football stadium located in the north of Munich, Germany, which can accommodate up to seventy-five thousand spectators. With football fans coming from all over the world to watch the event, tickets for the game must be purchased in advance. Bayern Munich has played its home games there since 2005 and will also compete in the Champions League this season.
The annual football tournament for clubs from Europe's top divisions began last September with a change in format, from thirty-two to thirty-six teams. Each team will play eight matches: four at home and four away.
The current UEFA Champions League champions, Real Madrid of Spain, beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 last year to win their fifteenth title. The club, recognized by FIFA as the best of the 20th century, has an impressive collection of trophies since its foundation in 1902. In the Champions League, it leads in the number of wins and goals scored. Under the leadership of the ambitious and charismatic Carlo Ancelotti, the team will again fight for the title this year.
On February 19, the Madrid club played the return leg of the play-off round against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu and won 3-1. And on March 4, they played a goalless draw in the opening match of the 1/8 finals against Atletico Madrid.
