Aviva Stadium, also known as Aviva Stadium or Staid Aviva, is located in Dublin, Ireland, and is a venue for rugby and football matches. It was built on the site of the old Lansdowne Road stadium and can accommodate up to 51,700 spectators. The name of the stadium belongs to the Aviva group of insurance companies, the deal to use the name was concluded in 2009 for 10 years with the possibility of extension for another 5 years.
The stadium is the home arena for the Irish national rugby and football teams, and also hosts matches of various club sports tournaments. In addition, Aviva hosted concerts by world stars such as Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga, AC/DC and others. In 2014, UEFA announced that the stadium would host three group matches and one game of the 1/8 finals of Euro 2020.
